Update 5 June 2020
As social distancing measures are still currently in place, and are looking likely to continue for the foreseeable, we have made the decision to indefinitely postpone this event until a date that we can once again run tournaments in our shop whilst making sure that everyone is safe.
Any tickets already purchased will still be valid for the new date but if you wish to get a refund please contact the store.
The Kirton Games Team.
Our popular Young Bloods Warhammer 40,000 tournament is back for it’s third outing!
Each player has 75 Power Level points to construct their army. They can use any units from their chosen army’s Codex, White Dwarf or Supplement book.
You may include Allies but at least 60% of your army must come from the same faction (For example The Imperium).
Armies do not have to be battle forged, but you do gain benefits for using a detachment should you decide to build your army around one (For example you gain extra Command Points).
All armies start with 3 Command Points as standard.
This is a WYSIWIG (What You See Is What You Get) tournament so miniatures must be armed with the weapons that are visibly on them.
Armies do not have to be painted but there will be a prize for the best painted miniature (More about that in a bit)
The tournament will take place over 3 game rounds. Each round is 90 minutes in length plus 10 minutes of set up time ahead of each round. You have a maximum of 4 turns per round.
Missions scenarios will be announced on the day.
10:00 – 10:30: Registration
10:30 – Round 1
12:10 – Lunch
13:00 – Round 2
14:40 - Round 3
