System - Warhammer 40,000 Matched Play

Army Size - 2x 1000pts

Missions - Missions & Deployments will be drawn from the Leviathan Mission Pack and announced by the TO after the List Submission Deadline.

Number of Games - Three

Army selection - Each player in the team should select an individual legal force of up to 1000pts, otherwise following all Core Rules for Strike Force battle size games but with the following modifications for the Doubles format.

Players may not share points when selecting their individual forces.

The two forces may have different Faction Keywords. However, if they share the same Faction Keyword, Army Rules are applied to the combined team and not per force (effects are not duplicated). An individual force may have a unique Detachment Abilities, but the effects of these do not benefit the whole team.

The team may not contain more then three datasheets with the same name - or six units with the same datasheet name in the case of Battleline or Dedciated Transport units

Any unique units, Enhancements or similar items limited to one per army under normal circumstances may NOT be included more then once per team.

Both forces have a shared pool of Command Points.

Both forces should select a Warlord.

Warlords, any Psychic Powers and Pre-Game Stratagems (including Warlord Traits & Relics) that are selected must be included on your army list.

Army lists MUST be submitted by email in a text format to or via the Best Coast Pairings player app by Friday 5th January. Players will be deducted a 10 VP penalty from the results of their first game for failure to submit a valid list by the deadline.
Please also ensure you have at least one printed copy of your list on the day for your opponents.

Publications in Use - All current and in-print Warhammer 40,000 10th Edition Rulebooks, Index, FAQs, Errata and other documents, unless their release falls after the list submission deadline.

Any exceptions to this policy will be at the discretion of the TO.

Your Models - Models MUST painted for this event to a table-top standard. In addition, all models MUST be fully assembled, WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) and correctly based to the current standard as supplied by Games Workshop.

Third-party models, including those which are 3D printed are acceptable where they are comparable to what they represent, and conversions encouraged.
If you have any queries relating to these requirements, or need clarification on whether a model is acceptable, please contact us before the event. Please note, that depending on the circumstances, needing to change your list after the List Submission Deadline could result in a penalty.

Prizes -

Best General - The top three teams will receive trophies, in addition the first placed players will each receive a £20 gift voucher, the second placed players £10 gift vouchers and the third placed players £5 gift vouchers.
Best Army - The top three teams will receive trophies, in addition the first placed players will each receive a £20 gift voucher, the second placed players £10 gift vouchers and the third placed players £5 gift vouchers.
Most Sporting - The winning players will each receive a trophy and a £20 voucher to use in store.

General Details -

Parking - There is ample parking at St Saviours Way carpark which is less than a five-minute walk from the shop.

Food - There are plenty of food options within a few minutes’ walk in Crediton, including Fish & Chips & Tesco. We also sell a selection of snacks and cold drinks.
Cancellations - Please note we are unable to offer refunds within 14 days of the event.
Accessibility – Regretfully the store is not easily accessible to wheelchair users. However, if you have any concerns please contact us in advance of purchasing a ticket to discuss, and we will make every effort to make suitable arrangements to accommodate you.
Non-participants - The attendance of non-participants, is at the discretion of the TO. Any non-participating minors should be accompanied at all times by a supervising adult, and are the responsibility of those they accompany.
