Kirton Games proudly presents our Warhammer 40000 Winter Grand Tournament.
Rules: Warhammer 40,000 Matched Play.
Army size: 2000 points.
Missions: Missions will be drawn from the Chapter Approved: Grand Tournament 2020 Mission Pack with the following alterations:
Step 3. The Mission will be as announced by the TO prior to the start of each round.
Step 5-6. The Battlefield will have been set out in advance. Terrain should be moved by the smallest amount necessary and in a mutually agreeable fashion by the players to ensure that Objective Markers are not within Terrain pieces. In addition, each table will have sheet detailing the pre-determined Traits of each piece of terrain upon it.
Number of games: Three.
Army selection: Battle-forged at Strike Force battle size and following all additional rules contained within the Chapter Approved: Grand Tournament 2020 Mission Pack.
All Warlords, Warlord Traits, Relics and Psychic Powers MUST be generated in the normal manner before the event and recorded on your Roster except for those generated by the expenditure of Command Points which may be generated prior to the start of each game in the normal fashion.
Army Rosters MUST be submitted via the Best Coast Pairings player app, by email in a text format to email@example.com by Friday 13th November.
Publications in use: All current and in-print Warhammer 40,000 Codex, Campaign books, and Forge World Index Books, unless their release falls after the list submission deadline. All current and in-print FAQs and Errata, unless their release falls upon the weekend of the event. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes Beta Rules but excludes Warhammer Legends.
Your Models: Models MUST be painted to least a Battle Ready standard (Chapter Approved: Grand Tournament 2020 Mission Pack, Pg12). In addition, all models MUST be fully assembled, appropriately based and WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get).
Best Coast Pairings App: We will use the Best Coast Pairings App to run this event. While not compulsory, it would be hugely beneficial if you could download and register for the BCP Player App on your iOS 9+ or Android 5+ Device before the day of the event.
If you are able to do so, please let us know the email address you use in order to enable us to add you to the event.
The BCP App allows you to report results, view and upload lists (your own and other competitors), view results, round pairings and is linked to the ITC Online Rankings.
