Who's it for?
The Blood Bowl Sevens Try Outs tournament is designed to be a fun and friendly tournament for both beginners and seasoned veterans alike but has a specific focus for players wishing to join our next Blood Bowl League in store.
That’s because players will earn Star Player Points (SPP) throughout the tournament (but will not skill up!) and if you are then taking part in out next Blood Bowl League you will be able to purchase those players for your team
The tournament is also open to anyone who just wants to play some Blood Bowl Sevens
The format
This is a matched play event
Each coach will have 600,000 gold to crate their team using the Blood Bowl Sevens rules on the NAF website chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/https://www.thenaf.net/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Blood-Bowl-Sevens-2019.pdf
Teams start with a Dedicated Fans characteristic of 0 (though you may purchase additional dedicated fans as normal)
Your team must have non few than 7 and no more than 11 players
You can have no more than 4 specialist players on your rosters (players who who’s availability is less than 0-12)
Team re-rolls cost double
The game is made of two, 6 turn halves
At the end of each round calculate any star player points earned but DO NOT SKILL UP any of your players. SPP is only used for League Play post tournament
Round time is 1 hour 30 minutes hours. At the end of the round. When time is called players must conclude the current turn being played until there is a turnover or score.
This is a Swiss Round tournament are we will be using Best Coast Pairing tournament software. Players are advised to submit their team list via Best Coast Pairing

09:30 – Player registration, welcome and housekeeping
10:00 – 11:30 Round One
11:45 – 13:15 Round two
13:15 – 13:45 Lunch
13:45 – 15:30 Round Three
15:45 – 16:15 Round Four
16:30 – Prize giving and close of tournament
What to bring
· Your team
· 2 copies of your team roster
· A Blood Bowl Seven’s pitch and dug outs (if you have them!)
· Dice, tokens and templates
Prize Support
Prize support to be announced on our Facebook event page but prizes will be awarded for the following:
· Champion (Winner of the tournament)
· Spoon
· Best Painted Team
· Stunty Cup
Additional information for the day
Teams do not need to be painted but players must be clearly numbered on their base/figure to avoid any confusion among coaches
Parking is available at St Saviours Way Car Park in Crediton
We are unable to offer any refunds for the event 1 week prior to the date of the event taking place
We will do our best to make sure that there are an even number of players taking part in the event, through due to the nature of organised play events we may have an odd number of players on the day. If this is the case their will be a bye each round. The bye player will get an auto win for the round.
