Kirton Cup 2 – Saturday 4th July

Attention sports fans! Kirton Games are pleased to announce our second Blood Bowl tournament for 2026.

Who's it for? 

The Kirton Cup is designed to be a fun and friendly tournament for both beginners and seasoned veterans alike.

We are going bigger and better this time round with more tickets and longer round times as we gear up to hopefully hosting some NAF accredited tournaments in the future.

The format

This is a matched play event

Each coach will have 1,100,000 gold to crate their team using the rules in the Season 3 Blood Bowl rulebook.

You can include any players from your chosen team’s roster following their normal team building rules

You can include any number of inducements available to your chosen team

Teams start with a Dedicated Fans characteristic of 0 (though you may purchase additional dedicated fans as normal)

You must have a minimum of 11 players in your team

At the end of each round team rosters are reset, no Star Player points are awarded and casualties get reset

Round time is 2 hours and 15 minutes.  At the end of the round. When time is called players must conclude the current turn being played until a turnover.

This is a Swiss Round tournament are we will be using Best Coast Pairing tournament software.  Players are advised to submit their team list via Best Coast Pairing https://www.bestcoastpairings.com/organize/event/jzXrlH2BdDed?active_tab=roster

 

 

 

 

 

Skill Points

This event will be using the Skill Points rule on page 112 of the Season 3 Blood Bowl rule book

 

Round Times

9:30 – 10:00 Player registration

10:00 – Welcome and housekeeping

10:15 – 12:30 Round One

12:30-13:00 Lunch break

13:00 – 15:15 Round Two

15:30 – 17:45 Round Three

18:00 – Prize giving and close of tournament

 

What to bring

·         Your team

·         2 copies of your team roster

·         A pitch and dug out

·         Dice, tokens and templates

 

Prize Support

Prize support to be announced on our Facebook event page but prizes will be awarded for the following:

·         Champion (Winner of the tournament)

·         Runner up

·         Spoon

·         Best Painted Team

·         Stunty Cup

 

Additional information for the day

Teams do not need to be painted but players must be clearly numbered on their base/figure to avoid any confusion among coaches

Parking is available at St Saviours Way Car Park in Crediton

We are unable to offer any refunds for the event 1 week prior to the date of the event taking place  

We will do our best to make sure that there are an even number of players taking part in the event, through due to the nature of organised play events we may have an odd number of players on the day.  If this is the case their will be a bye each round.  The bye player will get an auto win for the round.
